These homemade Fruit Roll-Ups are super easy, healthy and delicious. It’s an amazing way to bring back childhood memories. The best part is that they only require 3 ingredients that you probably have sitting in your kitchen!

What do you need for Fruit Roll-Ups

The best thing about these easy Fruit Roll-Ups is that they only require 3 ingredients! The only 3 ingredients needed are: any fresh fruit of choice, lemon juice and any sweetener of choice. To make them, blend all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender then spread them out on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Once there evenly spread bake them at the lowest temperature of the oven for 4 to 7 hours, until the centre is no longer tacky.

Sweetening Fruit Roll-Ups

When it comes to sweetening Fruit Roll-Ups there is a numerous amount of ingredients that can be used. For example, honey, maple syrup, agave, sugar substitute (like Stevia or Splenda) and much more. Any sweetener used will give the same finally affect in the Fruit Roll-Ups, however its important to keep in mind that the quantity might differ based on the type of sweeter chosen!

How to store Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups?

The best way to store Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups is to store them in an airtight container in a cool area like the fridge or pantry for up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

  • Fruit: Any combination of fruits will work great for the fruit roll-ups, a mix of berries like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mango, pineapple or peaches. I would recommend to try and avoid fruit that brown up really easily like bananas, apples, pears.

  • Lemon juice: The lemon juice is there to help brighten up and intensify the flavours and preserve the fruit.

  • Sweetener: When choosing the sweetener use honey, maple syrup, agave or any sweetener substitute like Stevia or Splenda. Do not use granulated sugar as it may not dissolve properly and can leave the fruit roll-ups grainy.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups of strawberries (or any fresh fruit of choice)

  • 2 Tbsp honey (or any sweetener of choice)

  • 1-2 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 170*F (or as low as the oven can go). Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2

  • In a food processer add all of the ingredients and blend them together. Until fully combined.

Step 3

  • Pour onto the prepared baking pan. Spread out evenly 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

Step 4

  • Dehydrate them in the oven for 4 to 7 hours, or until the centre is no longer tacky.

Step 5

  • Once finished dehydrating, allow to cool then use clean scissors to cut into 1 inch wide strips. Roll each strip into roll-ups. Enjoy.
