Spraying: Spray 4 (6-well) donut trays
Mix dry ingredients

Fill the pans about 1/2 of the way full with the dough

2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup buttermilk

4 tbsp cocoa powder
4 tbsp butter, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp hot water

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (177C). Slightly spray 4 (6-well) donut trays. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another medium-sized bowl, mix the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract until incorporated. Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until fully combined. Transfer the batter into a piping bag and snip off the top.
Step 3
Pipe the batter into the prepared pans, about 1/2 of the way full. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the donuts have puffed up, and a skewer inserted din the middle of the donuts comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan before removing onto a cooling rack.
Step 4
For the chocolate glaze, melt the butter halfway through, then mix in the cocoa powder and place back in the microwave until completely melted. Fold in the powdered sugar, at this point the mixture will be very thick, so add about 2 tbsp of hot water to thin out the consistency or until desired.

Dip each donut into the chocolate glaze and top with sprinkles. Enjoy!
