Ingredients For Triple Chocolate Blossoms

  • Unsalted Butter

  • Brown & Granulated Sugar

  • Eggs

  • Vanilla Extract

  • All Purpose Flour

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Espresso Powder

  • Baking soda

  • Salt

  • Hershey Hugs Kisses: They will be pressed down the center of each cookie once the cookies are out of the oven.

How To Make Triple Chocolate Blossoms?

  • Whisk wet ingredients together until fluffy and the mixture turns an off-white color.

  • Mix the dry ingredients together.

  • Scooping, use a 1 tbsp cookie scoop

  • Baking, bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until the center has slightly puffed up and cookies have spread.

  • Decorating, place the Hershey hugs kissed in the center of each cookie once they come out of the oven and have slightly cooled.

The best way to store these triple chocolate blossoms is at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 7 days. If you want them to last longer, then cover and place in the fridge for up to 14 days.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter, room temperature

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup Dutch processed cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp espresso powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Coating

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for coating the cookies (optional)

Topping

  • Hershey Hugs Kisses

Instructions

Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2

  • With a whisk, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together until fluffy and mixture turns an off-white color (about 2 minutes). Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until a smooth consistency.

Step 3

  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms. Use a 1 tbsp cookie scoop and roll the cookies in the 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until the center has slightly puffed up, and the cookie have spread.

Step 4

  • Once the cookies are out of the oven, let them cool for 3 to 5 minutes. Place a Hershey’s hug kiss into the center of each cookie. Enjoy!
