  • Granulated Sugar: This recipe uses granulated sugar, but you can also use brown sugar if you’d like.

How To Freeze Nutella Banana Bread?

To freeze Nutella banana bread and preserve its fresh flavor and texture. To freeze this banana bread.

  1. Cool baked banana bread completely.

  1. Tightly wrap it in plastic wrap a few times (2 to 3 layers), then in foil.

  2. Place the wrapped banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 to 4 months.

When the banana bread is ready eat, let it sit out on your counter and thaw to room temperature.

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted and cooled

  • 3 extremely ripe bananas

  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 2/3 cups All-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup Nutella

Instructions

Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177C) and line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

Step 2

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, and melted butter, mixing until combined. Mix in the eggs, Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.

Step 3

  • Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until just combined. Do not over mix.

Step 4

  • Transfer half the batter in to your prepared loaf pan. Melt the Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds. Drizzle half the Nutella in the center and gently use a butterknife to swirl it around to create swirls. Pour the rest of the batter on top, and repeat with remaining Nutella.

Step 5

  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow banana bread to cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan. Enjoy!
