What Is A Single Serve Double Chocolate Cookie?

Honestly anything can be made into a single serve dessert. Single serve recipes are great if you don’t want to make a big batch of cookie dough and have a ton of cookies laying around everywhere. This small batch double chocolate cookie recipe makes 1 big cookie or 2 cookies. Either way they a so soft, fudgy and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients For Single Serve Double Chocolate Cookie

You’ll need these 9 ingredients to make this fudgy single serve double chocolate cookie. You’ll need the usual ingredients for cookies witch you probably already have. The only difference is that the amount is a lot more smaller.

  • Butter

  • Brown Sugar

  • Egg

  • Vanilla Extract

  • Cocoa Powder

  • All Purpose Flour

  • Baking soda

  • Salt

  • Chocolate Chips


Serving size

  • 1 big cookie

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter, room temperature

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • Half an egg

  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp chocolate chip

Instructions

Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2

  • In a medium bowl, with a whisk, beat butter, and brown sugar together until fluffy and mixture turns an off-white color (about 1 minutes).

Step 3

  • In a small bowl, crack the egg and beat with a fork until combined. Take half the egg mixture and add to the butter and sugar mixture along with the vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth consistency (you can use the other half of the egg for another single serve recipe).

Step 4

  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Step 5

  • Use a 1,5 ounce cookie scoop and gently press the cookie down (this recipe creates 2 cookies or 1 big cookie). Bake for 11 to 12 minutes, or until the cookie has spread and the center is still gooey. Let cool for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
